Smart Systems and
technology for SMEs
We work closely with suppliers we trust, to connect you with the right hardware and software for your work environment. Whether you’re looking for accurate data collection or autonomous robots, we’ve identified and vetted the best companies in their field and the relationships we’ve developed means we can offer you the best price.
Manual Production Data
One of the trickiest parts of collecting accurate data to improve your processes was when a task was carried out manually
We are proud to be the UK distributor for ivii who offer a unique plug’n’play vision system that captures and records this manual production data accurately and automatically.
IIoT and Connected Devices
The ‘Industrial Internet of Things’ (IIoT) is a network of devices, sensors, and instruments that are connected to industrial applications that share data with other systems.
These connected devices might include your machine tools or flow system – we work with a variety of suppliers including Keyence and OEM to source the appropriate device for your needs.
Manufacturing Execution Systems
A Manufacturing Execution System (MES) tracks and monitors your manufacturing process from raw materials to finished goods, collecting valuable data to inform where your business could be doing things more efficiently.
Our partners at Total Control Pro offer a comprehensive MES software product, DyanmxMFG, which provides real-time visibility and traceability to power your smart factory.
Productivity Monitoring
Productivity Monitoring tools offer analytics that help you to gauge the performance of your team. As well as setting and measuring against benchmarks like how many widgets are being assembled each day, or how long is spent assembling each widget, it enables you to spot patterns that may result in lower productivity.
Our preferred productivity monitoring software partners are Output Industries.
Automated Storage Solutions
Automated vertical storage and retrieval systems can be used as stand-alone units or be set up to work simultaneously.
These cost-effective solutions save space, improve efficiency, reduce picking errors, offer secure inventory control and fit on a small footprint.
Energy Analysis Systems
An energy analysis system provides you with a detailed overview of how energy is consumed throughout a system, facility, or even individual process. These insights can help you make informed decisions about how to reduce your energy bills and environmental impact.
We work with Output Industries as our trusted partners for energy analysis systems.
Digital Twin Technologies
A Digital Twin is a virtual simulation of workstations, cells, processes or production lines throughout your factory. You can use it to predict how changes to your workflow will affect its efficiency, without spending time and money trialling them in the real world.
Our partnership with Visual Components means that we can help you to implement digital twin technologies cost-effectively.
Operator Guidance
Operator Guidance systems support your team with clear, real-time instructions during complex manufacturing processes.
ivii iriis offers error-free production and 100% quality assurance and drastically reduces operator training time.
We also work with OEM Automatic.
Smart Tooling
Smart tooling involves embedding tools with chips that enable them to collect critical data and communicate with software. The end result is consistent quality and traceability; making sure that every bolt is fastened to the ideal torque, first time.
Stores Automation
Automated systems use advanced technology, including robots, conveyor belts, and sophisticated software, to speed up processes and reduce errors. Manual picking processes can also be optimised using similar software and processes.
We work with Breathe Technologies to create hyper-efficient workplace logistics solutions.
Collaborative Robots
Collaborative Robots are designed to work alongside humans in a shared workspace, carrying out precise or repetitive tasks that free people up to focus on more complex parts of the job at hand. They are easy to program, and offer a high degree of flexibility in operation.
Collaborative Robots can be designed to support many different manufacturing roles – we work with Vikaso and RobCo to deliver application specific solutions.
Industrial Robot Cells
Industrial Robot Cells are used to automate the manufacturing process almost entirely without human help on the manufacturing floor. The robots do not need to run in collaborative mode so they can generally handle heavier, larger materials and can produce a higher yield for continuous repetitive actions as they can run at higher speeds.
Our Industrial Robot Cell solutions are primarily sourced from Absolute Robotics.
