We help you become the
best business you can be.
But if your business isn’t hitting its production targets, where do you start? When time, resources and cash are all limited, you need a plan of action that makes the best use of all three. Robotics and automated systems might be flashy and exciting, but will they really deliver a financial return?

A light touch consultancy
At Human Workspace we understand that fundamentally, any smart manufacturing project is designed to help you produce more and do it for less. We’re also confident that we can help you start making effective changes without any huge up-front cost. It’s why we practise what we like to call “light touch consultancy”, saving your budget for the project itself.
We’ll never charge to visit your site, consult with you and draw up an action plan, and where possible we’ll help you access funding to trial technology as affordably as possible.

Our Process
Every project is different, and costs can vary depending on the level of complexity and technology involved. To ensure that the project is viable and works for you, we’ll help to create a budget estimate based on your vision and strategy.

1. Consultancy
Our first step always involves understanding your priorities and the strategic goals of your business. That way, you don’t spend money on technology you don’t need, or on hardware that won’t work without the systems in place to help it run properly. Before we do anything else, let’s have a chat!

2. Pilot Projects
Most of our clients want to test the water before spending significant money on an overhaul. Pilot projects typically involve an assessment of your readiness for smart systems, and a controlled experiment with a specific use case; perhaps a proof of concept on a production line or a single workstation.

3. Introducing Smart Manufacturing
After a pilot project has demonstrated RoI for 6-12 months, smaller manufacturers might look to simulate and then scale the project across the whole facility, introducing data collection, analysis and operator guidance tools with a thorough implementation and training plan for all staff.

4. Comprehensive Smart Manufacturing
Larger manufacturers may look for an even more comprehensive plan for their facility, incorporating extensive automation, robotics and smart tooling to optimise every stage of the production line.
